The Prince George’s County Genealogical Society will hold a virtual monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 7 pm. Mary Mannix of the Maryland Room at Frederick County Library in Frederick, MD, will talk to us about Finding Those Western Maryland Ancestors. Members will receive an invitation the week before the meeting, non-members may request an invitation by emailing president@pgcgs.org. Our library of 6,500+ items is now open on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with county and City of Bowie mask guidelines in place. The scope of our holdings is nationwide in many respects. While Maryland and Prince George’s County are the primary concentrations, there is also heavy emphasis on other Eastern states, migration routes and specific topical interests.
