Our June 20, 2024, meeting will be the last before summer. Parks and Planning needs the community room that we meet in for their “Kid’s Camp.” But we will be back on August 15 as usual.
The June entertainment is Dan & Cheryl, a very talented duo that we’ve heard before. The business part of the meeting will be shorter because Delegate Rosapepe will visit us to bring up-to-date news from the legislators. He’ll handle questions on community concerns, such as the Beltsville Fire Department. So please bring any questions for him, so you get the most pertinent news.
As of now, our August 15 meeting will be a picnic and bingo fest. Should be a lot of fun. More information forth coming.
We still meet at the Beltsville Community Center at 3900 Sellman Road. We ask people to be there by 10:30, so they have time to sign up for trips (bring a check to pay at signing), take a chance with our 50/50 drawing, browse over the “Ways & Means” table, and chat with the other members, before I start the business meeting at 11:00, We will also have light refreshments.
