Reaching out to New Scouts at Cub Pack 1031

Updated: Aug 30, 2023

Join Scouting: Working together to move a can of water without touching it

Cub Pack 1031 held their Join Scouting Event on September 18th and hope to be welcoming five new scouts to our Pack!

On October 2nd we held our Little Paint Branch Trail Community Cleanup and removed eight bags of trash and two bags of invasive species from the park. Many thanks to the community who keep our park clean.

Our scouts are working to earn their nature and outdoor requirements during the nice fall weather! Wolves are working on Wolf Howling at the Moon and Tigers are learning to work together to play games. Bears are learning about cooking and setting up tents and Webelos hiked three miles this past weekend. Our Arrow Den did a cleanup in a park and helped prep for our pack meeting.

If you are interested in discovering the fun of Cub Scouts, our cost this year will be $130 per scout. We are a family scouting unit. We hike, bike, go interesting places and learn about nature and do service. 95% of our scouts earned their rank this year! We are still being cautious with our scouts, we meet weekly (either virtually or in person based on the COVID numbers), stay arm’s length apart and wear our masks and we keep it fun! Our active den leaders are 100% vaccinated. Please contact Regina Halper at Pack1031cubscouting@gmail.com for more information.
