Bowie, MD (May 19, 2021): The Board of Directors, management and staff of Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union would like to congratulate Courtney Uzochi Ukonu and Sanai Virachittevin, recipients of this year’s Stallings and Prestandrea Scholarship. Both members will receive $1,000 towards their pursuit of higher education.

The Stallings and Prestandrea scholarship celebrates the commitment and dedication of two Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union pioneers, Virginia Stallings and Cindy Prestandrea. Each year the credit union awards two scholarships based on academic and community involvement.

Ms. Uzochi Ukonu graduated from Bishop McNamara High School and will be a freshman at Elizabeth City State University where she will major in Biochemistry. Ms. Virachittevin recently graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School and will be attending Florida State University this fall majoring in Civil Engineering.

“Congratulations again to our winners. We’re happy to make an impact in the lives of our members during this pandemic. From the Board of Directors and the organization, we wish both of them all the best in their endeavors.” stated Robert Schroeder, Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union President & CEO.
