A Reminder About Children and School Buses
Summer is coming to an end and school has started. Drivers, a reminder to stop for buses when their lights are flashing. Do not go around school buses or pass them when they are stopped. Also, watch out for children walking to school and trying to cross the road.
New Online Portal for Elderly Property Tax Credit
The online portal for the Elderly Property Tax Credit is now operational and available to the public. The link is: propertytaxcredit.princegeorgescountymd.gov
Since July 1, 2023, Prince George's County provides up to a 20% credit of the County portion of the property tax bill for seniors, inclusive of any Homeowner and Homestead Credit (total max of 20%).
