           Special Election for County Executive

Residents, voters, I encourage all Prince George’s County voters to do their due diligence when voting for Count Executive. I have sent numerous letters, beginning in January of 2024, to members of the County Council and former County Executive Alsobrooks questioning staffing actions within the Prince George’s Fire Department. I have asked where the money is coming from for the temporary station and the deferred maintenance that Prince George's County is responsible for at Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department station 31. I testified in November at the County Councils Special Night Meeting pertaining to the Staffing issues within Prince George’s County Fire Department. I have questioned funding, especially considering the financial mess Prince George’s County and Maryland are facing. It is with a heavy heart that I can tell you no one on the County Council answered any of my inquiries. The mismanagement of the Prince George’s County Fire Department is just one of the problems. Below are the deadlines for the Special Election.
