Cub Scout Day Camp is Back and Pack 1031 was there!!

Ash S, Juan M and Rosa M had a great time at Cub Day Camp with leader Regina Halper

Our district held their first post pandemic day camp at Wakins Regional Park in Bowie. Three of our Cubs had a fun time fishing, doing STEM, Nature, Crafts and Scout Skills activities along with Field Games. It was hot, but we drank lots of water, stayed in the shade and had a great time! Regina Halper led the Nature station.

We are now in our summer mode where we will be out and about in the parks and community working on fun electives and fundraising. We are selling our Papa John’s Fundraising cards again this summer, so let us know if you are interested! We also will be selling the traditional popcorn in the fall. .

If you are interested in Cub Scouts, contact Regina Halper at Pack1031cubscouting@gmail.com  for information. We are a family scouting unit. We learn outdoor skills, citizenship, STEM, nature and do community service. During the school year we meet at Beltsville Academy for our den meetings and doing service, STEM, biking and hiking in the outdoors. In the summer we meet twice a month in the parks.

We have new opportunities for families to apply for financial help. Ask me about it at National Night Out or contact me at the above email.
