On The Agenda: May 2019

The Citizen’s Association will meet on Wednesday, May 15, at 7 pm at Beltsville Academy. The Nazario Company will give a presentation on its proposed storage unit complex on Powder Mill Road between Route 1 and Edmonston Road. The property is in an industrial zone that allows this type of use. I encourage the residents of the Indian Creek townhome community to attend because this project is directly behind their community.

If you have a community concern that you would like to discuss, please let me know by May 10. I can be reached at 301.937.3490 or karenmcoakley@msn.com.

Coffee with Cops will take place at the Calverton McDonald’s on May 15 at 11 am. Join us for a discussion with Community Police Officer Fraser.

Have you signed up for www.nextdoor.com? A variety of county and state agencies are sharing valuable information on this community website.
