The Yoo Club’s Creativity Fair

This year, the Yoo Club celebrates Earth Month through environmental studies and stewardship. We've taken a tour of the Anacostia River, cleaned up trash during the Anacostia Clean Up Day, and collaborated with The Plastic Ocean Foundation to learn about litter in our oceans. Each of our students has worked hard to design creative projects for our initiative, the TRASH Project (Taking Responsibility and Spreading Hope). Our students will showcase these projects on May 20th at the annual Yoo Club Creativity Fair, located at 11416 Cedar Lane, Beltsville, MD (Emmanuel United Methodist Church). The event will take place from 5pm to 8pm. A celebration of creativity, student leadership, and environmental service, the Creativity Fair is not something to miss! Come enjoy student-created photography, graphic design, and fine arts projects. We will have fun activities for our guests, and refreshments will be served. Students interested in joining our program for the 2018-2019 year can fill out a priority application. We hope to see you there! Visit our newly-updated website, theyooclub.com, or Facebook.com/theYooClub to learn more about our program.
