Let's Clean Up the Little Paint Branch at the Beltsville Community Center!

Tom Dernoga is organizing the 2nd Annual Earth Day Stream Cleanup on April 21 from 9am–12pm at Beltsville Community Center. We had a great time last year, and we're looking for volunteers to make this another great event.

This is part of the Anacostia Watershed Society's (AWS) Earth Day Cleanup. AWS's annual cleanup event is a chance to pick up trash and take care of the Anacostia River Watershed.

You can register for this event at http://earthday.anacostiaws.org/earthday2018/. If site registration is full, contact Tom Dernoga at tomdernoga@gmail.com or 410.792.0332, and we will see about squeezing you in!

All tools and supplies needed will be provided—no need to bring your own gloves unless you have a favorite pair. Our site leaders will brief you on basic safety measures to ensure that everyone has a safe, fun time.

This is a family-friendly event, and kids are welcome! However, all participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by an adult, and participants under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
